Pages spend day with Messmer at Statehouse

State Sen. Mark Messmer, R-Jasper, welcomed students from the local area to serve as pages in March and April.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, tour the historic building, observe debates from the Senate floor and interact with their staff senators. Students in grades six through 12 may participate.

Holy Trinity Catholic School, East Campus: Abigail Hollinden of Jasper.

Heritage Hills Middle School: Maddox Anderson of Dale.

Heritage Hills High School: Nathalie Andersson and Marie-Christin Dieterich, both of Santa Claus, and Sigrid Nielsen and Irene Yang, both of Chrisney.

Indiana Connections Academy: Darsey Vonderheide of Jasper.    

Jasper High School: Lucas Bauer, Anna Hollinden, Taylor Owens, Emily Patterson and Jacob Patterson, all of Jasper, and Dimitry Gordon of Velpen.

Jasper Middle School: Olivia Andrews, Brenna Hildenbrand, Rachel Hollinden, Lacy Huckelby, Mallory Krapf, Karleigh Lemond, Kella Lichlyter, Mackenzie Poore, Cheyenne Scherle, Taryn Schmitt, Karis Wigand and Brianna Williams, all of Jasper, and Madison Heim of Velpen.

Northeast Dubois High School: Madison McIntosh and Montana McIntosh, both of Jasper.

Pike Central Middle School: Jayla Harris of Petersburg.

Southridge Middle School: Emma Cashmore and Payton Neier, both of Holland, Zoe Hollinden of Ferdinand and Emma Buening, Sidney Layton and Denae Reimann, all of Huntingburg.
