DUBOIS — A Dubois man was accused of impaired driving after a Sunday night traffic stop.

A Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Marvin Schwartz, 64, 5467 E. Jasper-Dubois Road, Dubois, at 8 p.m. after observing it traveling at about 20 mph on State Road 545 near Dubois and then not maintaining its lane on the roadway.

Police say Schwartz’s blood alcohol content later tested .19% in a certified test at the Jasper Police Station.

Authorities booked Schwartz into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:52 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
