BRETZVILLE — A call late Tuesday afternoon reporting a car stuck on a culvert between Jasper and Bretzville culminated with an impaired driving arrest.
The 5:25 p.m. dispatch sent Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputies to the 3700 block of South State Road 162 where an investigation determined an intoxicated Daniel D. Bailey, 40, Edgewood, Kentucky, had been driving the 2019 Hyundai Elantra at the scene.
The sheriff’s office alleged Bailey’s blood alcohol content tested .15% in a certified test conducted at the Jasper Police Station.
Authorities booked Bailey into the Dubois County Security Center at 7:09 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
