Congratulations to the Lady Raiders field and track team on their Pocket Athletic Conference victory this past week.

The Putting Against Cancer Golf Scramble was held Saturday. Teams named as winners were, first, John Kamman, Brad Pund, Heather Pund and Brian Mundy; second, Jeremy Marshall, Jesse Evans, Brandon Marshall and Tyler Rainey; and third, Mike O’Brien, Kord O’Brian, Aaron Stenftenagel and Robert Blume. Individual winners were, closest to the pin, Dave Langebrake; longest putt, J.R. Sattler; longest drive, Caleb Messmer; and best dressed, Caleb Meyer.

A number of family members gathered at the Hemmer family farm to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.

The Steve Hunter Co-ed Classic Softball tourney will be held Saturday (this was Steve’s birthday) at Holland Park Ball field. Check-in time is 7:30 a.m. The first pitch will be thrown at 8 a.m. with two games guaranteed. Cash prizes will be given for first place and runner-up. Co-ed teams should be made up of six men and four women minimum. Call 812-661-934 to sign up. If not playing on a team, come out and enjoy the day with family.  Concessions will be available.
