A graduation celebration was held Saturday evening for Brandon Goeppner at the Mount Pisgah Fellowship Hall from 4 to 8 p.m. The 2020 class of Pike Central High School had a viritual graduation the previous Thursday. It is thought that a graduation ceremony may still be held in July. Brandon will enter Purdue University this fall and study electrical engineering. He is the son of Jason and Beth Goeppner.

A parade was held Friday evening in Huntingburg for the graduating class of 2020 from Southridge High School. The parade was led by fire trucks and police cars and parents and friends gathered along the route to greet the graduates. A tentative date of July 18 has been set for graduation.

Ron and Becky Brockriede hosted a family gathering at their home on Memorial Day. A wiffleball game was held with young and old making up the teams. A cookout followed.

The church softball league will begin their summer schedules in June. The men will play their first game on June 16, and the women will start their schedule on June 17.
