The date is being announced for the spring flea market at the Lockhart Township Community Center in Stendal. Fifty-five tables have been rented for the March 28 event. They will be offering everything from baked goods and homemade jelly to antiques and collectibles. There is no admission charge. Food will be available all day beginning with breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. The hours of the market are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The church is continuing their fundraising effort for the new building in the grove. Because of a generous offer to match any funds until mid-May, an extra effort is being made to raise as much money toward the project as possible. Questions should be addressed to John Hemmer, Katy Katterhenry and Amber Brockriede.
