A great deal of interest was shown Sunday about the drawings and information concerning the new proposed building in the church grove. People were free to look over the drawings and ask any questions. A few questions were asked and the committee was able to address those. A soup and sandwich luncheon was served in the church basement following the presentation.
EPIC met Wednesday night with 39 youth and 17 adults in attendance. The menu for Wednesday night’s supper will be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, tater tots, salad and fruit.
A surprise birthday supper and party was held Saturday evening for Adam and Kelly Katterhenry at the home of her parents, Marcia and Glen Mehringer in Jasper. Family and friends of the couple attended the event. Cards and games were played throughout the evening for entertainment.
The groundhog is due out on Sunday. Perhaps we will get a favorable prediction from him.
