Recipes are still being sought for the church cookbook for the 175th anniversary. Recipes need to be turned in by the end of the week. Recipes may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or see either Debbie Frick or Ruth Ann Blackgrove. Books at $15 each can now be preordered.
Entries for the quilt show at the Mosquito Fest need to be entered beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. The categories of pieced, appliquéd, embroidery, comforters, old, child’s quilts and wall hanging will be judged by people’s choice. The quilt does not have to have been made by the exhibitor. The quilts may be viewed after the judging is finished. Entries are still being sought for the stationary parade. The Mosquito Fest will be held Friday and Saturday at Zoar.
