Janet Hemmer attended a baby shower brunch at the Eagle’s Lodge in Huntingburg for Laci Sattler on Saturday morning.
The church league softball games are beginning. The Zoar men will play at 7 p.m. Tuesday against the Holland United Methodist. The women will play Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Their opponents will be Augustana/St. James.
Just a reminder: The Kiwanis at Holland will be serving its pancake breakfast Saturday morning at the Holland United Methodist Church. Serving times will be from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. The proceeds will go to the Kiwanis Scholarship.
The Tin Fest Auto Show will be held at Stendal on Saturday. Registration will be from 9 until noon with awards presented at 3 p.m. Food will be available.
Vacation Bible School will be starting soon. It will be at Zoar and will begin June 17. Plans are underway for a special time of fun and learning for children ages 3 through fifth grade.
Plans are continuing for this year’s Mosquito Fest. The dates for this year’s festival are August 2 and 3.
