The Southern Belles Homemakers met Thursday at The Patio in Tell City for lunch. All members were in attendance.
Rachel Hughes of Richmond and Laura Hemmer of Cincinnati, arrived Friday to spend the Memorial holiday weekend with family members.
Some of the athletes of the Southridge field and track team have advanced to state at Indiana University Saturday and have set records on the way. Congratulations and best of luck to them on Saturday.
Ron and Becky Brockriede hosted a Memorial Day gathering and fish fry at their home on Monday. The day was filled with fun and food. A whiffleball game ended the celebration.
The Holland Kiwanis Club will sponsor its annual breakfast between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Holland United Methodist Church. Proceeds will go to the Kiwanis Scholarship.
The Tin Fest Auto Show will be held June 8 at Stendal. Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lockhart Township Community Center. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. Food will be available. All proceeds will go to the Lockhart Township Community Center. The slogan for the event is “Just a nice little drive.”
