Mike, Tai, Hudson and Easton Muldoon, Richmond, and Laura Hemmer, Cincinnati, were weekend visitors at Meadowtop Farm.

There will be a Mother’s Day dinner on Sunday at the Lockhart Township  Community Center in Stendal. Serving for the chicken and ham meal with all the trimmings will begin at 11a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. The cost of the meal will be $10 a person with children under age 5 free. The Putting Against Cancer golf scramble will be held Saturday. Tee time is 8 a.m. Call Jeremy or Erin Marshall or Patty Nance if needing more information.

The Holland Kiwanis will sponsor a rabies clinic from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Holland Fire Station. The cost of vaccination is $12 per pet. Happy Tails will be there to tag pets as a free service.

The Steve Hunter co-ed classic softball tourney will be held Saturday, May 18, at the Holland Park ballfield. Check-in time is 7:30 a.m. with the first pitch at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $150 before May 8 and $175 after that date. Two games are guaranteed and there will be cash prizes for first place and runner-up. Co-ed teams should be made up of six men and four women minimum. Call 812-661-9434 to sign up.
