Tina and Rhegann Fetter and Spencer Barrett went to Evansville on April 13 to take a board and brush class for Spencer’s birthday. Spencer was surprised when Dana Ferguson, Debbie Buechler, Kelsey Kippenbrock, Missy Wehr and Connie Schaefer showed up at Cheddars to have lunch and attend the board and brush class with them.
After the class, they went to the home of Rhegann Fetter where Spencer was once again surprised with a 30th birthday celebration. Those attending were Mark, Tina, Rhegann, Gaage and Amerynn Fetter, Shirley, Carla, Brody and Melanie Barrett, Pat, Dana, Emma, Tucker and Harper Ferguson, Courtney and Xander Weyer, Kelsey Nordhoff, Lee Bilderback, Matt Messmer, Kelsey Kippenbrock, Brad, Janna and Mallory Peter, Larry Hilsmeyer, Darin and Sara Deel, Missy and Adam Wehr, Brenda Messmer, Ron and Debbie Buechler, Donnie and Connie Schaefer and Emma and Ensley Singer.
Four members of the Southern Belles Homemakers traveled on April 8 to Stream Cliff Herb Farm near Commiskey, Indiana. The group browsed the antique and gift shops, had lunch at the Twigs and Sprigs Tearoom and purchased herbs and flowers to bring home for their gardens.
EPIC met April 17 at the church for its Easter celebration. There were 32 youth and 15 adults attending the evening’s activities. It was Family Night with family members invited to attend with their youth. The menu featured a Mexican menu. This was the last meeting until Fall.
Thirty family members spent Easter Sunday at Meadowtop Farm.
May 5 is the date set for the mother-daughter tea. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. This year’s class of Confirmands will be honored with a carry-in meal at 6 p.m. Bring food to share and help honor these young women.
The Putting Against Cancer golf scramble is rapidly approaching. It will be played Saturday, May 11, with tee time at 8 a.m. There will be four-person teams. For additional information, contact Jeremy or Erin Marshall or Patty Nance.
Zoar will be hosting this summer’s community Bible school. The dates are June 17 through 20. A lot of help will be needed this year.
