The EPIC group met last Wednesday evening. Jennifer Vaeth, St. Meinrad, was the speaker. There were 40 youth and 18 adults in attendance. The menu for this Wednesday evening will be fish nuggets, macaroni and cheese, cottage cheese, applesauce and pineapple.

John and Janet Hemmer spent Friday and Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee. They attended the Grand Ole Opry and some events at the Opryland Hotel.

Rachel Hughes and Chase, Christy, Felix and Guinevere Walton, Richmond, spent the weekend here and celebrated an early Christmas with their mother and grandmother, Delores Hemmer.

A women’s Night of Worship will be held Saturday evening, Dec. 14, at the church. This will be an evening of candlelight, scripture and music. It is meant to be an evening to relax and soak up God’s goodness and love. It is a time to remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas and it begins at 7:30 p.m

A group will be leaving the church at 3 p.m. Sunday to go caroling. Nursing home and individual’s homes will be visited. After the caroling, the group will go to the home of Ron and Becky Brockriede for food and fellowship.

Christmas musical practice is continuing at the church for the Christmas Eve service.

The total number of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child was 108. The boxes are now on their way to the various locations.
