The EPIC group met Wednesday with 38 youth and 20 adults. The supper menu for this Wednesday evening will be fish nuggets, macaroni and cheese, cottage cheese and applesauce.

Wednesday was Grandparents Day at Holland Elementary School. The grandparents responded well; a good size crowd attended. The fifth-grade classes put on a skit and the student body sang a song. Those attending were then invited to have cookies and visit the children’s classrooms. The children had made grandparent booklets to present to their grandparents. Pictures were taken of grandparents with their grandchildren. Donations for the pictures will be given to Riley Hospital. The Shriners were there collecting money as well.

The Partenheimer car show on Saturday had 34 vehicles entered in the show. Entries included cars, trucks and motorcycles. This was the ninth year for the benefit. A silent auction was held and there was food available. Several events were planned for family fun. A representative from the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation spoke briefly. Proceeds from the event went to the Foundation in memory of Doug Partenheimer.

Congratulations to the Marching Raider Band on their excellent showing Saturday at the Indiana State School Music Association invitational at Jasper.

John and Josh Hemmer attended the Hill Climb in central Indiana Sunday.
