St. Isidore Parish schedule for Holy Week is as follows.
• Holy Thursday, April 18: 6:30 p.m., St. Celestine Church.
• Good Friday, April 19: 6 p.m., St. Celestine Church.
• Holy Saturday, April 20: 9 p.m., St. Celestine Church.
• Easter Sunday, April 21: 8 a.m., St. Celestine Catholic Church, and 10 a.m., St. Raphael Church.
St. Isidore Parish is proud to welcome two Catechumens (those who have not been baptized) and two candidates (those who have been previously baptized in another faith). They will all be welcomed into the church during Holy Saturday Mass. Please offer your welcoming and congratulations to these four. The Catechumens are Mackenzie Zehr and Jennifer Abourobea. The candidates are Justin Kahle and Alicia Clark.
Parish office hours
The parish office will be closed for Easter on Monday, April 22. The Religious Education Center at the St. Raphael Campus also will be closed on Monday, April 22.
The Celestine Community Club announces the final spring shoot will be held Friday, April 26, at the club. The shoot will benefit the Celestine Fire Dept. Doors will open at 5 p.m, and the kitchen opens at 8 p.m. The closed match begins at 8 p.m. All are invited to come out and support these wonderful organizations that do so much for the parish and community.
Community yard sales
The Celestine community spring yard sales will be held April 26 and 27. Call Kristy Buechler at 812-481-2251 no later than Monday, April 22, to get your location on the map.
St. Isidore yard sale
The St. Isidore Youth Ministry is sponsoring a yard sale in conjunction with the Celestine town-wide yard sales on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and April 27. Donations can be dropped off at the Celestine Rectory garage from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 25. We will not accept any clothing. Youth help is needed for set up between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, and between 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27.

Jan Blackgrave benefit
A fundraiser to benefit Celestine resident Jan Blackgrave and her family will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11, with an Ridetech/ACMS annual benefit car show and bake sale at 350 S. St. Charles St., Jasper. Bake sale Items and raffle tickets will be available. Jan was recently diagnosed with cancer that has spread to her lungs. She is undergoing chemotherapy while pursuing her medical options. Anyone wanting to donate a bake sale item may take them to the St. Celestine Hall kitchen from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 10, or to the bake sale stand at the event.
The St. Isidore Parish graduation breakfast will be held Sunday, May 19. The breakfast will be served at 8:45 a.m. at the St. Celestine Dining Hall.
Graduates will receive a special blessing at all Masses the weekend of May 18 and 19. Afterward, the St. Anne’s Sodality will host a free breakfast for eighth grade, high school and college graduates and their family members. The parish wishes to congratulate you on your accomplishments and wish you well in your future plans.
Breakfast reservations are needed for the food count. Forms are listed on the church bulletin. Place reservation information in the collection basket by the May 11-12 weekend, or return it to the parish office by 10 a.m. Monday, May 13.
College graduates not be attending breakfast, but wishing to be listed in the bulletin insert, please, still fill out the information that is listed on the church bulletin and return it by Monday, May 13.

Drug Take Back Day
Dubois County Solid Waste management is hosting Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27. Free disposal of expired, unused and unwanted pharmaceuticals will be provided. No sharps (needles), infectious materials (anything containing bodily fluids) or waste will be collected.
Pharmaceuticals can be taken to:
• Ferdinand Fire Station, 221 E. Fourth St.: 10 a.m. to noon.
• Schnellville Fire Station, 8090 E. Schnellville Road: 10 a.m. to noon.
• Jasper State Police Post, 2209 Newton St: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Huntingburg Police Station, 503 E. First St.: 24 hours, seven days a week.
• Jasper Police Station, 309 E. Sixth St.: 24 hours, seven days a week.
