The 4:30 p.m. Saturday Mass is currently being livestreamed on Facebook. It will also be posted to the parish website, Facebook, and YouTube pages for viewing on demand on Sunday morning.
Celestine Vol. Fire Department drive-thru dinners
On Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Celestine Community Club and Celestine Volunteer Fire Department will host a Drive-thru Dinner fundraiser to make up for the Tractor Pull that is normally scheduled next weekend, but has been canceled due to Covid 19. The dinners will include turkey tenders, potato wedges, corn and slaw. Mock turtle soup will also be sold and available by the gallon. It is important for the fire department to continue to serve their community while keeping everyone safe. Raffle tickets can be mailed or dropped off at the fire station or the community club on Sunday at any time before the 1 p.m. drawing. The fire department thanks you for your continued support.
St. Isidore Parish Council & Religious Ed Commission Voting
If you are unable or still uncomfortable attending Mass you can call your vote in to the parish Office by noon on Tuesday for voting on Parish Council and Religious Education Commission. Or you can type in the address below and vote via Google Form. If you vote in church, please do not vote again. https://forms.gle/1soKNe4JndynZCLN6 Parish Council Nominees: Vote for 4 Jason Hagen, Ted Schnackertz, Cheryl Schnell, Jalen Seger, Kurt Sermersheim or Luke Woolems. Religious Ed Commission Nominees: Vote for 2 Kelly Bieker, Alex Linne, Amanda Steckler, Riley Hasenour, Jenna Hagen or Therese Wessel.
USDA Food Box Distribution
Volunteers will be offering DAIRY BOXES for free to anyone on Thursday at the St. Celestine Campus. Please do not arrive before 3:30 p.m. Distribution will start once the truck is unloaded. Enter on the west side by the Celestine Elementary School and proceed under the church carport to the east parking lot. Traffic will be one-way through the parking lot, so follow the signs to the entrance. First-come, first-served. We should have approximately 500 boxes to distribute.
The Rosary Trail at the St. Raphael Campus is open to everyone to enjoy an outdoor place to pray. This is a great activity for families or just a peaceful place for individual reflection. A group will be leading the rosary every Monday at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to join. Please keep do your part to social distance. If you are feeling ill please stay home.
Canceled this fall are Celestine Firemen’s Antique Tractor Pull and Celestine Community Club Wednesday night shooting matches. The club will evaluate shooting matches on Oct. 7. Also canceled are St. Raphael’s Church Social and St. Celestine Church Shoot. Both are normally scheduled in October.
