Icy road conditions canceled services at the church Sunday morning.

EPIC was back in session Wednesday evening with 48 youth and 16 adults. The menu for Wednesday evening of this week is chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, corn and cole slaw.

Pastor and Mrs. Keith Chanley and family were called to Arkansas this past week by the death of Mrs. Chanley’s father. Services were held Sunday in Arkansas.

Laura Hemmer, Cincinnati, and Ron and Rachel Hughes, Richmond, spent the weekend here with their mother, Delores Hemmer. They celebrated the birthday of Rachel and attended the basketball homecoming at Southridge. Granddaughter and niece, Grace Meece, was a member of the queen’s court.

Sympathies are extended to the families of Thelma Jean Oxley and Paul Gene Hagemeyer. Services for both were held in Stendal this week.
