Otwell men charged with Jasper hotel burglary

JASPER — A Wednesday morning call about a break-in at a Jasper hotel resulted in the arrest of two Pike County men on burglary charges.
The Jasper Police Department was called at 9:52 a.m. regarding an overnight break-in at the bar and office at the Ramada Inn, 951 Wernsing Road.
Police said various alcoholic beverages were taken during the break-in.
An investigation resulted in the afternoon arrests of Jeremy M. Evans, 33, of 10021 E. Harrison St., Otwell, and Adam G. Gray, 31, of 9204 E. Pike County Road 325N, Otwell.
Police said Evans and Gray are being charged with Class C felony counts of burglary and Class D felony counts of theft.
Authorities booked both men into the Dubois County Security Center just prior to 6 p.m.
