Orders being taken for Dale bookAugust 6, 2019
DALE — Orders are now being taken for the second printing of the second edition of the book on the history of the town of Dale, “Dale, Indiana 1843-1993.” The first 100 books printed this past December sold out quickly.
It has been over 25 years since the original book was first published. The book contains 496 pages, with 560 historical photos of the town of Dale. For those who already have the original edition, it is important to note that this book is the same as the original with the exception that all known errors and omissions have been fixed and about 20 pages of new historical information that fit between the years 1843-1993 have been added.
Order forms may be picked up at the Dale Lincoln Heritage Public Library or a check and delivery information can be sent to Daryl Lovell, 211 E. Cherry St., Dale IN 47523.
Books are $49, plus $8.50 for shipping if they need to be mailed. Checks should be made out to the Dale Fall Festival. Books may be picked up at a location to be announced when they arrive in early September. Just like the first edition, all proceeds go back to the Dale Fall Festival for use to benefit the Dale area.
