While waiting for their mothers who are teachers at Fifth Street School, Trace Weisheit, 6, left, Grant Messmer, 7, and Trace’s brother, Reese, 8, all of Jasper, played football Wednesday afternoon. “We had nothing to do inside besides play with the iPad or homework,” Reese said as he explained what led the trio to play outside. “And I hate doing homework.”
