JASPER — A Gibson County woman was brought to the Dubois County Security Center on Sunday on a theft warrant.
Court documents allege Erin L. Lance, 33, Oakland City, took merchandise valued at $282.88 on May 30 from the Walmart Supercenter, 4040 N. Newton St.
The case was investigated by the Jasper Police Department and a warrant charging Lance with a misdemeanor count of theft was issued July 19 out of Dubois Superior Court.
Authorities booked Lance into the security center at 4:29 p.m. Sunday on the active warrant.
During a court appearance Monday, Lance requested pauper counsel and her next court appearance was set for Oct. 14. Lance posted bond Tuesday.
