Numerous locals named PAC All-ConferenceMarch 10, 2020
From Herald Staff Reports
The 2019-20 All-Pocket Athletic Conference Team is out, and multiple players from every local team have been recognized.
Southridge junior Colson Montgomery was named All-PAC this season. Montgomery scored his 1,000th career point, broke his own single game boys scoring record and also became the team's all-time leading scorer this past year. Joining him is senior Garrett Voegerl, who was named an honorable mention.
Forest Park dealt with large turnover from a season ago, but senior Isaac Uebelhor and sophomore Drew Howard made sure to keep things afloat. Uebelhor missed most of his junior year due to an injury, but an All-PAC selection while healthy this year. Howard was named an honorable mention on the all-conference squad last year, but this year, he's on the team.
The All-PAC team is just the latest honor for Heritage Hills seniors Murray Becher and Simon Scherry, as well as junior Blake Sisley. Becher became the all-time leading boys scorer, school scorer and North Spencer scorer in history this season. Scherry rewrote the assists record books and scored his 1,000th point. Sisley also scored his 1,000th point this year. Oh yeah, and the trio helped the Patriots win their first sectional championship since 2003.
