Norma J. Wilhite, 89, Princeton, formerly of Indianapolis, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in Newburgh Health Care Center.
She was born at Otwell on July 8, 1923, to Alonzo and Fannie (Harper) Rumble. Her husband, Fred Wilhite, died in 2006.
Surviving are four daughters, Toni Sepaugh and husband Jim of Carthage, Texas, Elizabeth Nakabayashi and husband Laine of Des Moines, Wash., Jeanne Pierce and husband Mike of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Amy Maxwell and husband Michael of Irvine, Calif.; son Carl Joseph “Joe” Wilhite and wife Cynthia of Newburgh; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wilhite.
Mrs. Wilhite worked at Kmart in Princeton for several years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton and the historical society.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. CDT Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Ronald Zgunda will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
