Noretta Viola Tedrow, 82, Evansville
July 30, 2020Noretta Viola Tedrow, 82, of Evansville, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

She was born in Jasper on August 7, 1937, to Albert and Alvina (Ruckriegel) Braun. She married Claude Tedrow on February 2, 1957, and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1989.
Besides being a hardworking and kind loving mother, she worked at the Jasper Desk Company and was a cook at the V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper.
She attended the Truelove United Methodist Church and Salem United Methodist church.
Surviving are one son, Dennis (Maria) Tedrow, Loogootee; three daughters, Sandra Renee, Evansville, Tracy Leigh (Frank) Schnell, Francisco, and Claudia Rose (Ralph) Merkley, Evansville; grandchildren, Rodney and Keri Merkley, Isaiah and Olivia Schnell, Crystal Tedrow, Dennis Tedrow, Jr. Justin Tedrow; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Makenna Merkley; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Sellers, Loogootee, and Donna Sue (Ronald) Lechner, Loogootee.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are one daughter, Caccian Wright; four sons, Douglas Wayne, Roger Dale, Darren Lyn and Clinton Riley Tedrow; and two brothers, Eugene and Kenneth Braun.
Funeral services for Noretta Tedrow will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Truelove Cemetery, Loogootee. Rev. Bessie Adams will officiate.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
The family wishes to thank doctors David Curtis, Karl Sash and Frank Hopkins and also the staff at Bethel Manor SNF.
