Nora Jean Weber, 74, of Dale, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Nora was born June 25, 1944, in Chrisney to Frederick and Elizabeth (Patmore) Weber.
Nora was a grade school teacher in Tennyson and retired from Loge Middle School in Boonville. She worked as the business secretary at St. Francis Of Assisi Parish-Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
Nora was a member of St. Francis Of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Dale and formerly at St. Martin in Chrisney.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crafts. She was a religious education teacher at St. Joseph Church for several years.
Surviving are four brothers, John (Bonnie) Weber of Tell City, Cletus (Linda) Weber of Lamar, Kenny Weber of Dale, and Frederick (Diane) Weber of Ferdinand; nine nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. CDT Friday in St. Francis Of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Dale. Burial to follow in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Chrisney.
Friends may call at the Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand from 2 to 8 p.m. CDT Thursday and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. CDT Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church.
