Regional Opportunity Initiatives, a nonprofit focused on increasing economic and community prosperity in an 11-county region that includes Dubois County, is funding a regional housing study to help identify workforce housing needs and strategies for advancing housing opportunities in every county.

RDG Planning & Design has been retained to conduct the study and will work with counties across the region to gather input on the region’s housing market through a variety of techniques including stakeholder groups and market surveys. Neil Elkins is serving on the Housing Study Technical Committee as a representative of Dubois Strong and has been asked to facilitate engagement in the process.
