Nominations sought for ATHENA award
March 4, 2020JASPER — The Rotary Club of Jasper will host its ninth annual ATHENA International Leadership Award presentation at the Huntingburg Event Center on Thursday, Aug. 20. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Nominations for the award are being accepted through Friday, May 1, from the community. To nominate someone deserving to be honored, download a nomination packet and instructions from the website at www.jasperrotary.com and click on the link titled “2020 Athena Award.” People may also may request a nomination packet by calling Rotarian Joyce Fleck at 812-630-8754 or by sending an email to rotaryjasperin@gmail.com.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Kristine (Kristi) Juster, CEO of Kimball International. Juster joined Kimball International as CEO in 2018, after serving on theirboard of sirectors for two years. Juster is the first female CEO in the history of Kimball. Prior to Kimball, Ms. Juster served for over 20 years as a global executive at Newell Brands. Ms. Juster is a graduate of Cornell University and has stories to share about her business-mindedness, beginning in her high school years and beyond.
