JASPER — No injuries were reported in a Friday afternoon mishap involving two pickup trucks.
Raymond Neukam, 57, Huntingburg, was westbound on Indiana Street in a 19789 Ford F-150 when the 1:13 p.m. accident occurred at U.S. 231, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said Neukam heeded the stop sign but then continued westbound into the intersection as a southbound 2016 Ford F-150 was passing.
The Neukam truck struck the other Ford driven by Randall Gries, 54, Evansville, according to police.
Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Gries truck, while Neukam’s vehicle did not appear to have sustained damage, according to police.
An officer cited Neukam for failure to yield the right of way.
