Nicole Gehlhausen and Nathan Smith exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2018, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper. Father Ray Branner officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Theresa Gehlhausen of Jasper. The groom is the son of Edward and Debra Smith of Campbellsburg.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, chose her sister, Dana Reckelhoff of Jasper, as matron of honor. Tracy Atikinson of Indianapolis was the bridesmaid. The flower girl was Kinze Reckelhoff, niece of the bride, Jasper.
Mr. Smith chose Robert Cole of Paoli as best man. Josh Atchison of Bedford was the groomsman. The ring bearer was Wyatt Grove of Louisville, Kentucky.
The couple took a wedding trip to Fiji and is living in Louisville.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Jasper High School, 2007 graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, and received a Master of Architecture in 2009 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She is a project architect for LMH Architecture, Louisville.
Mr. Smith is a 2001 grauate of West Washington High School, Campbellsburg, and 2006 graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette. He is a controls engineer for Faurecia, Louisville.
