Criminal

• Aaron A. Messmer, 42, 10918 E. Monte Casino Road, Ferdinand, Level 6 felony failure to return to lawful detention, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center. Defendant may serve his sentence in community corrections, if eligible.

• Brian S. Cruz, 18, 105 W. Main St., Holland, Level 4 felony burglary and Level 6 felony theft, sentenced last week to seven years in the Indiana Department of Correction on the burglary count, with the defendant allowed to serve the executed sentence in community corrections. Sentenced to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center in the theft court, which also may be served in community corrections.

• Mary F. Roettger, 53, 41 N. Second St., Dubois, misdemeanor check deception, ordered last week to pay court costs of $185 within six months.

• Trevor T. Hansford Weitkamp, 20, 411 N. Main St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor theft, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to supervised probation. Defendant also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2,685.44.

• Brian S. Cruz, 18, 105 W. Main St., Holland, Level 6 felony failure to return to lawful detention, sentenced last week to 300 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Trevor T. Hansford Weitkamp, 20, 411 N. Main St., Huntingburg, Level 5 felony burglary, sentenced last week to three years in the Indiana Department of Correction with 359 days suspended to supervised probation. The defendant will serve one year and 20 days in the Dubois County Security Center and 345 days on home detention.

• Brian S. Cruz, 18, 1903 Medical Arts Drive, Huntingburg, misdemeanor theft and false informing, sentenced last week to 124 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Anthony J. Temple, 34, 1446 1/2 Jackson St., Jasper, Level 5 felony stalking, sentenced last week to 1,460 days in the Indiana Department of Correction suspended to supervised probation.

• Anthony J. Temple, 34, 1446 1/2 Jackson St., Jasper, Level 5 felony stalking, sentenced last week to 1,095 days in the Indiana Department of Correction with 365 days suspended to supervised probation. Defendant may serve the executed sentence in work release, if eligible. The sentence will be consecutive to the above-listed cause.

• Virgil L. Crews, 77, 4715 Pine Ridge Road, Level 6 felony criminal recklessness and misdemeanor criminal mischief, sentenced last week to 912 days in the Dubois County Security Center in the felony count and 365 days in the security center in the misdemeanor count with the sentences to be consecutive for a total of 1,277 days. The first 156 days shall be executed at the security center and the remaining 1,121 days shall be suspended to supervised probation. Defendant must also complete 40 hours community service.

Criminal

• Alexander S. Pund, 37, Troy, misdemeanor reckless driving, ordered last week to pay fines and costs in the amount of $221.

• Tonya L.H. Gunn, 38, 1622 Newton St., Jasper, Level 6 felony methamphetamine possession and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and resisting law enforcement, sentenced last week to 912 days in the Dubois County Security Center. Defendant shall serve the first 68 days in the security center with credit for 68 days, making the jail portion of the sentence complete. The remaining 844 days will be served on work release.

• Garrett B. Robinson, 44, 288 N. 1025E, Celestine, misdemeanor operating while intoxicated, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 361 days supervised probation and 80 hours community service.

• Susan J. Partenheimer, 64, 610 S. Chestnut St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor operating while intoxicated, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 361 days supervised probation and 40 hours community service.

• Weston D. Rust, 28, 257 Brucke Strasse, Jasper, misdemeanor public indecency, sentenced last week to 180 days in the Dubois County Security Center. Defendant receives a total credit of 128 days leaving 52 days to serve in the security center.

• Keeya Nicole Mills, 19, Evansville, misdemeanor minor consuming, sentenced last week to 60 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 180 days supervised probation in Vanderburgh County and 40 hours community service.

• Ethan H. Mundy, 19, 4355 W. State Road 64, Huntingburg, misdemeanor minor consuming, defendant entered into a pretrial diversion program last week.

• Charles A. Cahill, 36, 2515 Alois Court, Jasper, Level 6 felony operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator and misdemeanor driving while suspended, sentenced last week to 544 days in the Dubois County Security Center with 180 days suspended to supervised probation. Defendant shall serve the executed portion of 364 days on home detention with electronic monitoring.

• Brian S. Cruz, 18, 208 N. Meridian St., Holland, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and minor consuming, dismissed last week as part of a plea agreement.

• Brian S. Cruz, 18, 105 W. Main St., Holland, Level 6 felony auto theft, ordered last week to pay fines and costs in the amount of $311 and to have no contact with the victim.

• Jasmine R. Curtis, 21, 532 E. Sixth St., Ferdinand, misdemeanor marijuana possession, ordered last week to pay fines and costs in the amount of $411.

• Jasmine R. Curtis, 21, 532 E. Sixth St., Ferdinand, Level 4 felony dealing in a narcotic drug, sentenced last week to four years at the Indiana Department of Correction. Defendant shall serve the first 120 days in the Dubois County Security Center followed by 1,340 days on supervised probation.
