• John M. Davis, 53, Evanston, Level 1 felony attempted child molesting and Level 4 felony child molesting, found not guilty during a jury trial last week and released from custody.

• Melony R. Fowler, 41, Holtonville, misdemeanor battery, sentenced last week to 180 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to supervised probation.

• Isaac W. Stewart, 39, 1844 S. State Road 162, Jasper, Level 5 felony battery by means of a deadly weapon and Level 6 felony strangulation, sentenced last week to 1,460 days in the Indiana Department of Correction on the battery charge with a jail credit of 95 days and 31 days good-time credit. Defendant may serve the executed sentence on work release. Sentenced to 656 days in the Dubois County Security Center on the strangulation count with 545 days suspended to supervised probation.

• Jessica J. Fulkerson, 26, 402 E. Jefferson St., Holland, Level 6 felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced last week to 730 days in the Indiana Department of Correction with a jail credit of 219 days.

• April M. Young, 36, Indianapolis, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, case dismissed last week.

• Joshua D. Ransom, 19, 2050 N. Lincoln Drive, Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, sentenced last week to four days in the Dubois County Security Center with a jail credit of two days making the sentence complete.

Defendant is ordered into a purposeful incarceration program and, once successfully completed, the court will consider a sentence modification.
