• Chelsea N. Hager, 21, 4614 Rhine Strasse, Jasper, Level 5 felony battery by means of a deadly weapon, sentenced last week to 1,460 days in the Indiana Department of Correction with 913 days suspended to supervised probation. The defendant may serve 547 days of the executed sentence on home detention with electronic monitoring.

• Stuart J. Cassidy, 39, Tell City, Level 6 felony intimidation with judgment entered as a misdemeanor, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 361 days supervised probation and 40 hours community service.

• Kevin D. Payne, 54, 101 W. Sixth St., Jasper, Level 6 felony intimidation and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, sentenced last week to 180 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Rogelio Luna Perez, 25, 108 E. 35th St., Jasper, misdemeanor domestic battery, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to supervised probation after time served and good time credit factored.

• David W. Deck, 33, Mt. Vernon, Level 6 felony failure to return to lawful detention, case dismissed last week pursuant to an agreement with the prosecution.

 

Superior Court

Criminal

• Preston D. Hayse, 36, 2309 E. Spencer County Road 1250N, Chrisney, Level 6 felony theft and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, sentenced last week to 270 days in the Dubois County Security Center. Defendant shall cooperate fully and/or testify truthfully against any co-defendants and pay restitution in the amount of $39.98 and have no contact with the victim.

• Fernando U. Trujillo, 29, 525 Pleasant View Drive, Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, sentenced last week to 10 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Juan Miguel Flores, 20, 109 E. Fourth St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, placed in the custody of the court for one year last week in a conditional discharge.

• Austin S. Zehr, 22, 107 W. Second St., Huntingburg, Level 6 felony failure to return to lawful detention, sentenced last week to 120 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Brian Davids, 38, 2200 Mill St., Jasper, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, public intoxication, criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 317 days on work release.

• Samantha C. Schepers, 20, 1222 Jackson St., Jasper, Level 6 felony dealing in marijuana and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, sentenced last week to 542 days in the Dubois County Security Center, with the executed sentence of 182 days to be on home detention with electronic monitoring followed by 360 days supervised probation.

• Kevin J. Sermersheim, 53, Henderson, Kentucky, Level 6 felony operating while intoxicated, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center suspended to 363 days supervised probation and 80 hours community service.

• Katrina C. Bauer, 39, 224 N. Geiger St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, case dismissed last week as part of a plea agreement.

• Brian K. Opel, 49, 211 E. First St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor operating while intoxicated, sentenced last week to 365 days in the Dubois County Security Center, with the executed portion of the sentence being 357 days that can be served on home detention with electronic monitoring.

• David A. Bates, 29, 707 E. Second St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, sentenced last week to 12 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Jason P. Steckler, 26, 650 W. First St., Huntingburg, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, sentenced last week to 30 days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Jason P. Steckler, 26, 650 W. First St., Huntingburg, Level 6 felony unlawful possession or use of a legend drug, sentenced last week to 60 days in the Dubois County Security Center in a sentence to be consecutive to the above-listed matter.

• Raymond K. Petry, 30, 9335 S. Club Road, Ferdinand, misdemeanor driving while suspended, given a 90-day license suspension and ordered last week to pay fines and costs in the amount of $261.

• Raymond K. Petry, 30, 1318 Main St., Jasper, misdemeanor public intoxication, sentenced last week to time served of two days in the Dubois County Security Center.

• Raymond K. Petry, 30, 606 E. 13th St., Jasper, Level 5 felony possession of methamphetamine, Level 6 felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, sentenced last week to 1,825 days in the Indiana Department of Correction that may be served on work release.
