• Willie E. Schmidt-Burnett, 21, 1725 Greene St., Jasper, misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, case dismissed without prejudice last week.

• Justin M. Cavins, 29, 4520 Picadilly Circle, Jasper, misdemeanor battery and operating while intoxicated, sentenced last week to 364 days in the Dubois County Security Center with a jail credit of 28 days and 329 days suspended to supervised probation. Defendant must complete 40 hours of community service.

• Leonel A. Hernandez, 27, 911 S. Main St., Huntingburg, Level 4 felony sexual misconduct with a minor and Level 5 felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor, found not guilty on both counts after a jury trial and verdict filed Oct. 4. Court ordered defendant released from custody.
