NASCAR Club gave back to communityJanuary 11, 2018
To the editor:
The NASCAR Club of Southern Indiana would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know where the money we made from our 2017 fundraisers went. The fundraisers we had this year were a raffle, the Heimatfest beer garden and a jeep run.
The money we made went to several individuals to help them pay for medical and personal expenses due to illness in their family. Also, there were donations made to a police department, several fire departments, other raffles for prizes, school functions, sponsorships, several local non-profit organizations plus a donation to help local veterans.
Throughout 2017, the club was able to donate a little over $4,000 back to the community.
