Nancy Jean “Granny” Calvert, 77, Ferdinand, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in Louisville on Aug. 6, 1936, to Casey and Coptolia Mae (Thompson) Philpott.
Surviving are two daughters, Ronda Voegerl of St. Anthony and Kathy Winingham of Florida; two sons, Fred Calvert of Thomasville, N.C., and Robert Calvert of Florida; a brother, Lonnie G. Philpott of Blair, Kan.; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Darlene Walker; a sister, Donna Sue Philpott; and a brother, Donald Lee Philpott.
Ms. Calvert was of the Christian faith.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McAdams Mortuary, Paoli. Brother Mike Gable will officiate. Burial will be in Livonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
