Museum schedules breakfast with Santa

SANTA CLAUS — Santa Claus is making a scheduled stop at the Dubois County Museum on Saturday, Dec. 1, for a special breakfast with Santa. Breakfast will be served, beginning at 9 a.m. Attendees may eat a hot catered breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit and biscuits and gravy before visiting with and sitting on Santa’s lap.

The museum’s elves will be on hand with many games, take-home Christmas crafts and activities as they welcome everyone to enjoy Christmas at the museum. 

Cost of the breakfast and activities is $10 per adult and $7 per child 12 and under.

Registration forms are available at the admission desk at the Dubois County Museum. Checks should be made payable to Dubois County Museum and mailed to Breakfast with Santa c/o Cheryl Sermersheim, 4727 W. Division Road, Jasper IN 47546 or the Dubois County Museum, 2704 N. Newton St., Jasper IN 47546. Reservations and payment are due by Sunday, Nov. 25.

The Breakfast with Santa fee includes admission to the museum to check out the over 30 decorated Christmas trees and the Santa figurines, as well as, the 50,000 square feet of exhibits. The museum, at 2704 N. Newton St., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. The museum is closed Mondays.
