Museum plans Trivia Night fundraiserSeptember 23, 2019
JASPER — The Dubois County Museum will hold a Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 12. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for social time and play will begin at 7 p.m. Teams of eight will work together on the answers.
The Dubois County Museum would like to make some repairs on the roof and the building. The museum is managed by an all-volunteer board with no paid employees. All funding for operations is primarily donated as membership and income is limited. Rather than just asking for donations, board members and chairmen of the event, Cheryl Sermersheim and Dr. Ryan Flamion, decided to have some fun.
Questions will run the gamut and will not be limited to history.
Snacks and a cash bar will be available.
The cost is $200 per team. Don’t know seven other trivia buffs? Sign up for $25 and teams can be formed among individual players.
All eight members of the winning team will receive a paid one-year membership to the Dubois County Museum, plus the team will receive $200.
A platinum sponsorship ($7,000 or more) allows for free admissions for all employees on a specific weekend, one-time use of the meeting or banquet room, and name recognition on all advertising leading up to and including the event and drink vouchers.
A gold level sponsorship ($5,000 to $6,999) allows for one-time use of the meeting or banquet room,, and name recognition on all advertising leading up to and including the event and drink vouchers.
Silver sponsors ($1,000 to $4,999) includes name recognition, advertising inclusion up to and during the event and a drink voucher for each team member.
Bronze level sponsors ($201 to $999) receive name recognition at the event and drink vouchers.
Sponsors so far include Farbest (gold level); Jasper Engines and Transmissions, Kimball Electronics, The Ferdinand News and Universal Design Associates (silver level); and Meyer Custom Woodworking, The Herald and Servus (bronze level).
Consider mailing a tax-deductible contribution to help “Raise the Roof.” Make checks in any amount payable to the Dubois County Museum and add in the memo line, Raise the Roof. Send the checks to Dr. Ryan Flamion (to keep these separate from membership) at 10801 S. 720 W., Holland IN 47541.
For more information, email Dr. Ryan Flamion at firstname.lastname@example.org and put “Raise the Roof” in the subject line.
