JASPER — The Dubois County Museum announces these programs for April.
Storytime will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13. The theme is Easter and ducks. Crafts and activities will be featured.
The museum is closed April 19 and 21 for Good Friday and Easter.
The Jasper Reptile Center returns to the Dubois County Museum at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Come see Blake Buechlein’s collection of reptiles and learn about them. Snakes, lizards, a tortoise, a turtle and a baby alligator will be used in the program. Donations may be made to rescue reptiles.
Teddy Bear Tea with Grandma and Me will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4. Reserve a spot by Friday, April 26, by emailing
email@example.com. The cost is $5 per adult and $2 per child. Children are to bring their favorite Teddy Bear or special doll and enjoy a morning of crafts, games, a tea party, snacks and a scavenger hunt.
The museum, at 2704 N. Newton St., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. The museum is closed Mondays.
