Museum announces March eventsMarch 5, 2019
JASPER — The Dubois County Museum welcomes all to visit the museum during March. Two programs have been planned for children.
Storytime with children or grandchildren is planned Saturday, March 9, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The theme is Dr. Seuss. Volunteers will read several stories from the Dr. Seuss collection and lead a craft session. Activities will follow on this theme.
A preschool program, titled “Little Sprouts,” for ages 3 to 6 will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 30. The program is designed to inspire awareness and connections to earth. There will be lots of activities available. Youngsters will learn about seeds, gardening, worms and healthy foods.
Registration is required for planning.
Email email@example.com by Monday, March 25. Cost is regular admission to the museum, which is $5 per adult and $2 per child. There is not fee for those holding a 2019 museum membership.
The museum, at 2704 N. Newton St., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. The museum is closed Mondays.
