Mundy named new Bombers GMNovember 21, 2013
HUNTINGBURG — The Dubois County Bombers amateur baseball club announced that Joe Mundy will replace Skip Kruger as the team’s general manager for the 2014 season. Mundy, a retired banker and sports enthusiast, worked in sales for the Bombers last season.
“We are grateful for Skip’s contributions in helping establish a very successful first year for our new organization form in 2013, and we’re excited to have Joe Mundy ready to step into the GM position,” Mike Uebelhor, a managing partner of Dubois County Baseball, LLC, said in a statement. “With Joe’s business background, his many business contacts, involvement on various civic boards, and his love of sports, we are fortunate to have him in the front office of the Bombers.”
The Bombers will kick off the 2014 season June 1, with head coach Wes Fink and assistant coach Greg Gogel. Season tickets and game-day tickets will remain the same price as last year with a new half-season ticket and Bomber five-pack ticket package being offered as well. For tickets or for more information, contact the Bombers office at 683-3700 or email@example.com.
