Multiple book sales set for AprilApril 1, 2019
FERDINAND — The Friends of the Ferdinand Library are having multiple book sales in April.
During the Ferdinand town-wide yard sale, the Friends’ basement book sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6. The Saturday sale will have additional special pricing from noon to 2 p.m.
The Friends’ second Saturday basement book sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
Customers may enter the sales from the main floor of the Ferdinand Branch Library or from the north side doors off the Ferdinand Community Center parking lot.
Sales will feature multiple tables of newly donated fiction and nonfiction adult, young adult and children’s books. The sale also includes puzzles and games.
The Friends also have accumulated a number of first-edition books and books signed by authors. These books will have special pricing.
The vast majority of books are $1 for hardbacks and 50 cents for paperbacks. Prices for children’s books and puzzles vary.
All proceeds from sales are used for adult, teen and children’s programming.
