JASPER — A Tuesday morning traffic stop in Jasper resulted in a motorist being charged with a misdemeanor.
The Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Aaron M. Crawley, 32, 402 Clay St., Jasper, at 8:02 a.m. at 23rd and Mill streets.
During the stop, police determined Crawley’s driver’s license was suspended and he had a prior, unrelated judgment for driving while suspended on his record.
Crawley was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:02 a.m. and charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended (prior).
During an initial appearance later in the day in Dubois Superior Court, Crawley pleaded guilty to the offense and his sentencing was set for Dec. 19.
