Motorcyclist treated after Holland-area accident

HOLLAND — A Pike County man was flown for treatment after wrecking his motorcycle Saturday night just east of Holland.
Cory Booker, 22, Petersburg, was westbound on Holland Road East on a Honda motorcycle when the 9:18 p.m. accident occurred at a curve just west of County Road 600W, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Booker crashed at the curve and was flown by StatFlight helicopter for treatment, according to the sheriff’s office. He reportedly was treated and released.
Damage to the motorcycle was estimated to have exceeded $1,000.
The Holland Volunteer Fire Department, a Uebelhor & Sons wrecker and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services also assisted.
