Montgomery named Top 100 draft prospect

MLB.com has listed its Top 100 draft prospects for the 2021 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, and one particular name may be recognizable to to local sports fans.
Southridge senior Colson Montgomery is listed No. 48 in the Top 100 of the 2021 class, and is 20th among high school players. He's listed as a third baseman who bats left and throws right. The 2021 MLB Draft is set to begin July 11.
Patriot girls add game
Heritage Hills has added a game to its girls basketball schedule. The Patriots are scheduled to play Tuesday at Silver Creek. The junior varsity game is set for 1 p.m., and varsity after that.
