Miranda Lynn Terwiske and Kyle Edward Kieser exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 27, 2018, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Fr. Raymond Brenner officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jason and Ann Terwiske of Ireland. The groom is the son of Forrest and Angela Kieser of Jasper.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an Allure bridal gown. The slip dress featured a strappy lace sheath edged in crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of roses, celosia, hypericum berries, dahlia and carnations.
Music for the ceremony was provided by vocalist Stacey Lehman and organist Sarah Sergesketter, both of Jasper.
She chose her sister, Erin Terwiske of Jasper, as maid of honor. Celeste Schmitt of Huntingburg, cousin of the bride; Kelli Benham of English, friend of the couple; Lexie Jerger of Jasper, cousin of the bride; and Rachel Hyneman of Freelandville, friend of the couple, were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Madison Kieser of Jasper, niece of the groom.
The bridesmaids wore a burgundy Mori Lee caviar mesh A-line gown with a halter neckline and scoop back or a burgundy Bill Levkoff V-neck sleeveless gown with criss-cross pleats which adorned the bodice.
Mr. Kieser chose his brother, Steven Kieser of Jasper, as best man. Blair Cain of Jefferson, Georgia, friend of the couple; Steven Buchta of Jasper, friend of the couple; Ryan Terwiske of Ireland, brother of the bride; and Anthony Scerati of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, friend of the couple, were groomsmen. The ring bearer was Brandon Kieser of Jasper, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held at the Huntingburg Event Center. Music was provided by DJ Rerum of Indianapolis.
Out-of-town guests from Florida, Georgia, Chicago, New Jersey and Germany shared the couple’s special day.
The couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and is living in Jasper.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Jasper High School and received a Paramedic Certificate from Vincennes University in 2015. She is employed by Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center as a paramedic and CVS of Jasper as a pharmacy technician. She is also a member of the Ireland Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Kieser is a 2011 graduate of Jasper High School and received a degree in Fire Science from Vincennes University in 2014. He is employed by Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center as a EMT-B and the Scott Township Fire Department. He is also a member of the Jasper Fire Department.
