Minnesota man accused of public nudity

From Local Sources

JASPER — An indecent exposure call to police Thursday evening resulted in a Minnesota man’s arrest.

The Jasper Police Department started toward a fast food restaurant on the city’s north side at 7:06 p.m. after a caller reported that a man who had exited his vehicle had removed his khaki shorts. That man, who was then nude from the waist down, according to the caller, reportedly got back in his vehicle, put on his seat belt and went through the drive-thru.

Police who located and stopped the suspect vehicle at 36th and Newton streets reported that the driver, Alex D. Olson, 32, Dilworth, Minnesota, was still in a state of undress but was attempting to cover himself during the traffic stop.

During the stop, police also allegedly located a metallic blue smoking pipe commonly associated with marijuana use.

Authorities booked Olson into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:35 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of public nudity and possession of paraphernalia.
