Michael R. Mehringer, 61, Milwaukee, Wis.March 16, 2021
Michael R. Mehringer, age 61, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 4:08 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mike was born in Jasper, Indiana, on February 15, 1960, to Richard and Helen (Heeke) Mehringer.
He was a 1978 graduate of Pike Central High School. He then earned his Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University and his Master's Degree from Benedictine University.
Mike loved farm life and spent his career in the farming industry and working in agricultural equipment. This allowed him to live in and experience many parts of the country and foreign travel.
He was a very intelligent individual and valued his close friends and family.
He loved watching all sports and was an avid fan of the Purdue Boilermakers, St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving is one sister, Lynn Mehringer, Ireland, IN.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Richard and Helen Mehringer.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael R. Mehringer will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, March 19, 2021, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the noon service time at the church on Friday. Masks and social distancing will be required for the Mass and visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
