Menerva Ellen Hopper, age 85, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on May 30th, 2021 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.
She was born at Bicknell, Indiana on September 15th, 1935 to Arthur and Mary Lou (Marvel) Riggle.
Ellen married Charles E. “Eddie” Hopper on January 11th, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents; (1) Son – Charles Eugene Hopper; (1) Sister- Velma Riggle; and (2) Half Sisters – Snowful Payne and Genieve Erwin.
Ellen is survived by: (2) Sons Billie Joe Hopper (Bea) Dubois, Indiana, Floyd E. (Pete) Hopper (Dora) West Baden Springs, Indiana; (2) Daughters Sharon D. Wininger Paoli, Indiana, Bonnie E. Kellams West Baden Springs, Indiana; (10) Grandchildren; (19) Great-Grandchildren; (10) Great-Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Friday, June 4th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation for friends will be Friday, June 4th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, 9640 W. State Rd. 56 French Lick, IN.
