A Saturday, June 9, 2012, ceremony united in marriage Megan Betz of St. Anthony and Jonathan Pund of Mariah Hill. Father John Brosmer officiated at 1:30 p.m. EDT in Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Mariah Hill.
David and Donna Betz, St. Anthony, and Chuck and Rose Pund, Mariah Hill, are parents of the couple.
Musicians Dan, Donna and Dana Hayden played as Leslie Luebbehusen sang for the ceremony.
Mr. Betz gave his daughter in marriage. Kendra Knies, Ferdinand, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Also attending the bride were Kimberly and Kelley Pund, Mariah Hill, sisters of the bridegroom; Shay Wendholt, Ferdinand, cousin of the bride; and Tinsley Hopgood of Evansville, Jade Hooper of Ferdinand and Lindsey Voges of Santa Claus, friends. Mya Wehr, St. Anthony, cousin of the bride, was miniature bride.
Mr. Pund chose his brother, Jason Pund, Mariah Hill, as best man. Groomsmen were Tyler O’Brien and Jeremy Thomas of Santa Claus and Adam Hooper of Ferdinand, friends; Shane Oxford and Matthew Kern, Mariah Hill, cousins of the bridegroom; and Shawn Betz, St. Anthony, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Koen Betz, Jasper, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at the Ferdinand Community Center.
The couple is at home in Ferdinand following a wedding trip to Jamaica.
The bride graduated from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, and is a dental assistant at Wagner Family Dental, Jasper. Mr. Pund graduated from Purdue University and is a structural engineer at Universal Design, Ferdinand.
