Meeting: Southeast Dubois Schools

The Southeast Dubois School Board met last week and:

•Accepted resignations from Jarred Howard, fifth grade girls basketball coach, and custodian Dean Fleck.

• Hired Adalyn Welp as a speech language pathologist, Grant Welp and Tadd Ferguson as assistant football coaches, Cora Merkel as a part-time special education teacher at Pine Ridge Elementary School and Abby Rogier, Terri Bell, Lisa Schroeder and Autumn Langen for the We are Fit program for May 6 to 25.

• Set hours for personnel working in this summer’s literacy, iRead remediation, Camp Crest, physical education, advanced concert band, language arts, math and agriculture programs.

• Approved McGraw Hill textbooks. They include a classroom set of books for each subject, with online access for all students, Superintendent Jamie Pund said.
